La escritura del desarme como punto de encuentro entre la enfermedad y la memoria en Sangre en el ojo : una nueva poética

Abstract

Resumen: La narrativa de Lina Meruane muestra líneas de refl exión literaria y política recurrentes, que conforman la Weltanschauung de lo que algunos denominan la nueva narrativa femenina chilena. Tales son, entre otras, la enfermedad, la memoria y la escritura, elementos estrechamente conectados y que, en este caso, serán analizados en relación a la novela Sangre en el ojo (2012). La preocupación en torno a la escritura, a la necesidad de una escritura de resistencia, surge a partir de la ceguera de la protagonista y la consecuente activación de la memoria, tanto personal como histórica, colectiva, una memoria (o postmemoria) que se torna necesariamente crítica. Escritura, enfermedad y memoria se entrelazan a partir de dinámicas de resistencia y subversión frente a lo hegemónico, trazando nuevas formas de experimentar el cuerpo y la palabra escrita,

Abstract: Lina Meruane’s narrative shows transversal refl ection lines in her texts, those that constitute her principal literary and political concerns and that defi ne the Weltanschauung of the generation that some theorists call the new Chilean feminine narrative. Th ose are, among others, illness, memory and writing, which in this case will be analyzed in relation to the novel Sangre en el ojo (2012), where those three central concepts are closely connected. Th e preoccupations about writing and the need of a resistance writing emerge from the protagonist’s blindness, that produces the activation of personal memory, as well as historical and collective memory, a memory (or postmemory) that becomes necessarily critic. Writing, illness and memory are points of resistance and subversion against hegemonical power, designing new forms to experience the body and the word, in a present time where the reconstruction of the historic past becomes an urgent ethic and aesthetic action.
