Distancia de rescate : el relato de los que no tienen voz

Abstract

Resumen: El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la novela Distancia de rescate (2014) de Samanta Schweblin centrando el estudio en los personajes como sujetos abyectos, relegados al margen de lo social. De este modo, tras una primera observación sobre la estética de lo grotesco y lo siniestro, trataremos de ahondar en estos personajes a través de los conceptos de lo abyecto de Kristeva y de la vida precaria de Butler, que nos remiten al contexto del campo argentino, donde las industrias agroquímicas están colonizando la producción local y relegando a la invisibilidad a los habitantes de esas tierras. Así, el modo de resistencia de las voces silenciadas será construir un relato propio.

Abstract: The objective of this work is to analyze Samanta Schweblin’s novel Distancia de rescate (2014), focusing the study in the characters as abject subjects, those who are moved to the social banks. In this way, after an observation of the aesthetic of the grotesque and the sinister, we’ll try to deepen in the characters through the concepts of abjection (Kristeva) and of precarious life (Butler), that refer to the context of the Argentinean land, where agrochemical industries are colonizing the local production and moving the residents of those lands to an invisible place. Thus, the way how those silenced voices resist will be constructing their own story.
