Autor: | Capilla, Vera | Palabras clave: | FILOSOFIA; BOMBA ATOMICA; GUERRA MUNDIAL (1939-1945); Heidegger, Martin, 1889-1976; Heisenberg, Werner, 1901-1976 | Fecha de publicación: | 2026 | Editorial: | Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
In 1954, the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts offered a series of lectures where "The Question Concerning Technology" was presented. In this lecture, Heidegger called as a reference the lecture given by Werner Heisenberg, known for being the author and main proponent of Matrix Quantum Mechanics, proposing the Uncertainty Principle, and being the leader of the team convened by the Nazi regime to develop an atomic bomb. In this conference he sheds a warm, youthful light on the coldness of the events unleashed by World War II. The two authors had previously exchanged brief letters, which reveal some details that contribute to enriching our understanding of the complex relationship between contemporary philosophy and the new science that began with the atomic age. |
