Aprendizaje-servicio: espiritualidad transformadora desde la cultura del encuentro

Abstract

Este artículo describe cómo se desarrolla la Espiritualidad y la Religiosidad desde el Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario (AYSS) en la educación superior católica. Se toma como referencia las Experiencias Formativas Inclusivas (EFI), espacios curriculares que promueven la citada pedagogía en la Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). Se desarrollan los conceptos de Cultura del Encuentro, EFI, AYSS, Espiritualidad y Religiosidad para explorar sus interrelaciones y contribuciones a la formación de profesionales expertos en humanidad. El estudio desarrolla metodología cualitativa para analizar el caso de una EFI: Seminario Teórico-Práctico (STP): Problemáticas Sociales y Compromiso Social para una Cultura del Encuentro (UCA, 2014-2025). Mediante análisis documental y análisis de contenido temático se explora el curriculum escrito y el curriculum vivido, con foco en el desarrollo de la Espiritualidad y la Religiosidad. Los resultados expresan que el itinerario formativo del STP (escrito y vivido) contribuye a desplegar la Espiritualidad y la Religiosidad, desde un aprendizaje profundo y sustentado en la Cultura del Encuentro y la fraternidad. Así, el desarrollo de un proyecto de AYSS (dentro y fuera de la Universidad) logra formar una dimensión de lo humano muy declamada pero pocas veces acompañada en la educación superior católica y desde los espacios curriculares: Espiritualidad y Religiosidad. Profundizar en el análisis de estos hallazgos, y en cómo generar itinerarios formativos abiertos pero específicos, asoma como un desafío para la investigación, la enseñanza, el aprendizaje y la gestión académica.

This article describes how Spirituality and Religiosity are developed through Solidarity Service Learning in Catholic higher education. It Inclusive Formative Experiences (IFE), curricular spaces that promote the Inclusive the aforementioned pedagogy in the Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), are taken as a reference. The concepts of Culture of Encounter, EFI, AYSS, Spirituality and Religiosity are developed in order to explore their interrelationships and contributions to the training of professionals who are experts in humanity. The study develops a qualitative methodology to analyze the case of an: Theoretical-Practical Seminar (TPS): Social Issues and Social Engagement for a Culture of Encounter (UCA, 2014-2025). By means of documentary analysis and thematic content analysis we explores the written curriculum and the lived curriculum, with a focus on the development of Spirituality and Religiosity. The results show that the formative itinerary of the TPS (written and lived) contributes to the development of Spirituality and Religiosity. Spirituality and Religiousness, based on a deep learning process and sustained in the Culture of Encounter and fraternity. This is specified in two characteristics of the experience: to recognize all the students (to include us from the from the diversity of experiences and beliefs) and to accompany the trajectory of each one of them (diversifying actions according to heterogeneity and their interests). Thus, the development of an solidarity service learning project (inside and outside the university) manages to a dimension of the human dimension that is much talked about but rarely accompanied in Catholic higher education and from the curricular areas: Spirituality and Religiosity and Religiosity. To deepen the analysis of these findings, and how to generate open but specific formative how to generate open but specific formative itineraries, appears as a challenge for research, teaching and for research, teaching, learning and academic management.
