Presencia de la cultura clásica en la educación secundaria obligatoria. : El caso de la Escuela Nº 34 “Esteban Echeverría”, El Rodeo, Ambato, Catamarca

Abstract

Resumen: El presente trabajo es el inicio de una investigación mayor referi-da a la enseñanza de la cultura grecolatina en el nivel de Educación Secunda-ria Obligatoria en Catamarca. En este primer momento, pretendemos esta-blecer el grado de enseñanza y transmisión de la cultura clásica y su legado que se observa a través de los Proyectos Curriculares Áulicos (P.C.A) pre-sentados en el ciclo lectivo 2016, por los docentes de la Escuela nº 34 “Este-ban Echeverría”, perteneciente a la localidad de El Rodeo, departamento Ambato. El interés por la temática surge a partir del desconocimiento del alumnado en general de las raíces, pervivencias y herencias que le debemos al mundo grecorromano, cuna de nuestra civilización occidental y de nuestro compromiso de proponer acciones para subsanar esta falencia.

Abstract: The present work is the beginning of a major research about the teaching of Greco-latin culture at the level of compulsory secondary educa-tion. In this first moment, we intend to establish the degree of teaching and transmission of the classical culture and its legacy that is observed through the curricular projects presented in the 2016 academic year, by teachers of N° 34 school belonging to the locality of El Rodeo, Ambato department. The interest in the subject arises from the ignorance of students about the roots, pervivences and inheritance that we owe to the Greco-roman world, the cra-dle of our western civilization, and our commitment to propose actions to correct this lack.
