Sociedad civil y bien común. : hacia una nueva articulación del mercado, el estado y la sociedad civil

Abstract

Resumen: Este trabajo analiza algunos aspectos de la Encíclica Laudato Si’ del Papa Francisco en relación con los comentarios del sumo Pontífice en el marco del seminario Changing Relations Among Market, State and Civil Society de la Academia Pontificia de Ciencias Sociales y el Grupo interdisciplinar de la Organización de las Universidades Católicas de América Latina y el Caribe sobre Doctrina Social de la Iglesia. La Tierra, casa común de todos los seres vivos, es un bien común que debe ser protegido por el Estado y el mercado junto con la sociedad civil. Esta última tiene que tener la valentía de marcar el rumbo para la construcción de un nuevo orden socioeconómico más equitativo, más justo y más sano.

Abstract: This work analyzes some aspects of Pope Francis’ Encyclical Laudato Si' in relation to the commentaries of the Supreme Pontiff in the context of the Seminar Changing Relations Among Market, State and Civil Society held by the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and the Interdisciplinary Group of Catholic Universities Organization of Latin America and the Caribbean on Social Doctrine of the Church. The Earth, the common home of all living beings, is a common good that must be protected by the State and the market together with the civil society. The latter must have the courage to set the course for the construction of a new, more equitable, fairer and healthier socioeconomic order.
