Estilo personal del terapeuta : estado actual (1998-2017)

Abstract

Resumen: El Estilo Personal del Terapeuta (EPT) se refiere a las características que cada terapeuta imprime a su actividad clínica como resultado de su particular manera de ser, más allá del foco de su trabajo y de los requerimientos específicos de la tarea. Desde el origen del EPT en el año 1998 hasta la actualidad se encuentran más de 50 producciones científicas distintas, el último estudio que se abocó a exponer una síntesis del panorama actual del EPT fue realizado en el año 2007. Por lo tanto, el propósito de este artículo fue realizar una breve síntesis de las líneas de investigación actuales, y reflexionar críticamente sobre las fortalezas y líneas futuras de investigación sobre el EPT.

Abstract: The Therapist Personal Style (PST) refers to the characteristics that each therapist prints to his work as a result of his particular way of being, beyond the focus of his work and the specific requirements of the task. From the beginning of the PST in the year 1998 to the present, more than 50 different scientific productions are found, published in diverse countries, and with different themes. The last study to present a synthesis of the status of the PST was carried out in 2007. Therefore, the goal of this paper is to make a brief synthesis of the current research topics and critically discuss the strengths and future lines of research of the PST.
