Análisis y características del impedimento matrimonial de voto de castidad

Abstract

Resumen: Entre los impedimentos matrimoniales que nacen de causas jurídicas se encuentra el de voto de castidad. El presente estudio comienza referenciado lo establecido en el Código de Derecho Canónico de 1917, para luego analizar la vigente normativa sobre este impedimento, del cual trata el canon 1088 del Código de 1983. Al abordar algunas cuestiones se incluyen las procesales, precisando a quiénes afecta este impedimento. Finalmente se hace una breve referencia al Ordo virginum.

Abstract: Vow of chastity is one of the matrimonial impediments arising from legal causes. The present study begins by referencing the provisions of the Code of Canon Law of 1917, to then analyze the current regulations on this impediment, which deals with in canon 1088 of the Code of 1983. The procedural issues are included, specifying to whom it affects this impediment. Finally, a brief reference is made to the Ordo virginum.
