Entre la audacia y la mesura : la revolución rusa, la revista argentina Nosotros y Roberto Giusti (1917-1927)

Abstract

Resumen: La revista cultural Nosotros, editada en Buenos Aires entre 1907 y 1943, ocupó un lugar prestigioso en la cultura Argentina. Este artículo analiza el impacto de la revolución rusa en la revista y en la figura de su fundador, Roberto Giusti. La revolución motorizó hondas expectativas de transformación social, no siempre compartidas por igual por todos los miembros del grupo; impulsó a su vez a Giusti a la vida política, que desarrollaría en el marco del Partido Socialista argentino.

Abstract: cultural journal Nosotros edited in Buenos Aires between 1907 and 1943 attained a prestigious place in the Argentine culture. This article analyzes the impact of the Russian revolution in the magazine and in the figure of its founder, Roberto Giusti. The revolution motorized expectations of social transformation, not always shared equally by all members of the editorial group of Nosotros. Indeed, also induced Giusti to turn to political life, which would develop in the framework of the Argentine Socialist Party.
