Los nacionalistas argentinos en Mundial Magazine : los casos de Leopoldo Lugones y Manuel Gálvez

Abstract

Resumen: Mundial Magazine fue una revista novedosa para el momento histórico en que se concibió, pues se presentaba como la expresión de las tendencias literarias hispanoamericanas, tratando de generar contactos intelectuales en diferentes partes del mundo. Allí, Leopoldo Lugones y Manuel Gálvez dejaron su impronta con distintos artículos que expresaban parte de su ideología. En este trabajo investigamos dichos artículos en relación a sus obras más trascendentales de la época, afirmando la impronta del modernismo literario en sus escritos y la defensa que establecieron de sus ideas políticas relacionadas al nacionalismo conservador de principios del siglo XX.

Abstract: Mundial Magazine was an original magazine for the historical moment in which it was conceived, as it revealed itself as the expression of Latin American literary tendencies, trying to generate intellectual contacts in different parts of the world. There, Leopoldo Lugones and Manuel Gálvez left their imprint with different articles that expressed part of their ideology. In this work we investigate these articles in relation to their most transcendental works of the time, affirming the imprint of literary modernism in their writings and the defense of their political ideas, wich were realated to the conservative nationalism of the early twentieth century.
