La sección sobre Herodes de los Fragmenta in Matthaeum (CPG 2141.7) atribuidos a Atanasio de Alejandría

Abstract

Resumen: el objetivo de esta contribución es analizar uno de los Fragmenta in Matthaeum (CPG 2141.7) atribuidos a Atanasio de Alejandría; de este opúsculo, perdido en la tradición directa y parcialmente inédito, un equipo de investigación radicado en la KU Leuven prepara actualmente una edición crítica. En lo que sigue, se prestará especial atención a su función dentro de la estructura del Florilegium Coislinianum (s. IX-X), que ha conservado la mayor parte de dichos fragmentos. Por motivos expositivos, sólo uno de los textos atribuidos a Atanasio será abordado en detalle: aquel que se refiere a las nueve enfermedades incurables de Herodes. Por último, se propondrá una enmienda textual y se estudiarán las fuentes del fragmento.

Abstract: This contribution aims at analysing one of the Fragmenta in Matthaeum (CPG 2141.7) attributed to Athanasius of Alexandria, lost in the in the direct tradition and partly unpublished. A research team based at KU Leuven is preparing a critical edition of the whole corpus. In what follows, its function in the Florilegium Coislinianum (s. IX-X) –which has preserved the largest part of the fragments– will be underscored. For brevity’s sake, only one of the fragments will be tackled: that about the nine incurable diseases of Herodes. Finally, a textual emendation will be proposed, and the sources of the fragment studied.
