diversos contextos históricos. The article presents Jerome’s phrase «the whole world groaned and marveled at finding itself converted to Arianism (C. Lucif. 19)» within its historical and literary context, criticizing a certain use of it. It also examines how the phrase has been interpreted in various historical contexts. |
