Frege y Husserl: identidad proposicional y concepciones del significado

Abstract

En este trabajo, realizaré un análisis comparativo de las concepciones del significado de Frege y Husserl, teniendo en cuenta tres dimensiones fundamentales: 1) el rechazo del psicologismo; 2) la distinción entre sentido y referencia; 3) los criterios de identidad en el nivel de las proposiciones. Intentaré mostrar que esta última dimensión comparativa reviste una importancia central, a pesar de que no ha sido suficientemente estudiada y analizada en la literatura crítica sobre este tema. Respecto de los dos primeros puntos de comparación, argumentaré que ciertos elementos en común entre los enfoques de estos autores han motivado interpretaciones que tienden a menospreciar sus diferencias o a analizarlas bajo una óptica equivocada.

In this article, I will carry out a comparative analysis of the conceptions of meaning of Frege and Husserl, considering three fundamental dimensions: 1) the rejection of psychologism; 2) the distinction between sense and reference; 3) the identity criteria at the level of propositions. I intend to show that this last comparative dimension is of central importance, even though it has not been sufficiently studied and analyzed by scholars. Regarding the first two points of comparison, I will argue that certain common elementsbetween the approaches of these authors have motivated interpretations that tend to underestimate their differences or analyze them from the wrong perspective.
