Abstract

Resumen: Frente a las sagradas imágenes de la Virgen y del Señor se mueve el pueblo creyente para hablar a Dios y escucharlo. El autor propone algunas líneas para comprender la densidad teologal de las imágenes sagradas. Partiendo de la gnoseología litúrgica de Romano Guardini y recogiendo el carácter de la imagen religiosa cómo síntesis plástica de la fe y su valor hierofánico, ingresa a la propuesta analítica de Santo Tomás. En conexión con todo lo desarrollado accede a algunas conclusiones vinculadas a distintos aspectos de la vida del cristiano. Finalmente, a partir del camino recorrido propone la apertura de algunos horizontes reflexivos en el orden litúrgico y pastoral.

Abstract: At the presence of the sacred images of the Virgin Mary and Our Lord, the believing people moves to talk with God and listen to Him. The author proposes some ways in order to understand the dense theological burden manifested at the sight of the sacred images. Starting from the liturgical gnosis of Romano Guardini and gathering the character of the religious image as a plastic art’s synthesis and its hierophanic value, comes into the analytic proposal of Saint Thomas. Connected with the whole developed subject reaches some conclusions concerning the different aspects of the life of a believer in Christ. At the end, and taking into account the search lately done, presents the opening of a reflexive new thought in order to the liturgical and pastoral matters.
