Neurociencias y salud mental: presentación teórica del concepto plasticidad neuronal

Abstract

Resumen: Es posible considerar la experiencia como determinante en el devenir de un sujeto, ya que esto permitiría alejarse de un determinismo genético y apreciar cómo la plasticidad permite la singularidad del sujeto y el carácter de único a cada cerebro humano. Con respecto a la constitución de la realidad interna inconsciente fundada a partir de los mecanismos de la plasticidad, cabría señalar que no se trata exclusivamente de un fenómeno de orden psíquico, sino que también involucra al cuerpo. La plasticidad neuronal puede apreciarse en tanto hecho biológico, pero también en la convergencia que implica entre huella psíquica y huella sináptica en la interfaz entre sujeto y organismo y en su significativo papel en la emergencia de la individualidad.

Abstract: It is possible to consider the experience as determinant in the evolution of a subject, since this would allow to move away from a genetic determinism and to appreciate how plasticity allows the singularity of the subject and the character of unique to each human brain. With regard to the constitution of the unconscious internal reality founded on the mechanisms of plasticity, it should be noted that it is not only a phenomenon of psychic order, but also involves the body. Neuronal plasticity can be seen as a biological fact, but also in the convergence that implies between psychic footprint and synaptic footprint in the interface between subject and organism and in its significant role in the emergence of individuality.
