Abad de Santillan played in the Argentine anarchism as well as in the Latin
American and European anarchism between the years 1922 and 1926, period
during which he resided in Berlin. Living in Europe enabled him, on the one
hand, to establish new networks and relationships through which he intended
to spread the ideals of the anarchist movement that he represented, not only
throughout the Old World, but also throughout Latin America. On the other
hand, it allowed him to shape the foundation of the Argentine Anarchism and
become its ideological referent while he sought to insert it in the international
social sphere. This task, together with his activities as a writer, editor and
translator, made him a key part in the Argentine anarchist movement, and at the same time, envisioned him as the future head of the Argentine anarchist newspaper. Resumen: |
