Una aproximación al Thíasos lésbico desde la lírica de Safo

Abstract

Resumen: Mucho se ha hablado del origen de la palabra lesbiana, del amor lésbico, de la poesía homoerótica. En el siguiente artículo nos proponemos acercarnos a los orígenes del término situados contextualmente en la isla de Lesbos del siglo VII. a.C. La magnífica labor cultural y literaria de Safo nos invita a adentrarnos en la institución que dirigía, el thíasos, para develar formas, roles y legados.

Abstract: Much has been said about the origin of the word lesbian, lesbian love, homoerotic poetry. In the following article we propose to approach the origins of the term, contextually situated on the island of Lesbos in the VII century BC. The magnificent cultural and literary work of Sappho invites us into the institution who ran: the thiasos, to unveil forms, roles and legacies.
