¿Puede estar la lirosofía de Jean Epstein dentro de la estética de las afecciones?

Abstract

Resumen: En este trabajo se analizará la estética del cineasta Jean Epstein, desarrollada en su escrito La lirosofía, con el fin de que sea incluida dentro de la estética de las afecciones. A su vez, la lirosofía debe ser considerada como una de las formas más desarrolladas de dicha estética. Para establecer el vínculo entre la lirosofía y la estética de las afecciones se determinarán los elementos de la última, partiendo por establecer en qué medida y cómo nos afecta el arte. Es a través de la vivencia estética que se comunican la experiencia estética y el estado anímico y emotivo actual de la persona. De esta manera se conoce el modo en que la obra de arte le afecta a la persona. Finalmente se concluirá por qué considero esencial a la lirosofía en el estudio de la estética de las afecciones.

Abstract: In this paper Jean Epstein’s æsthetics, developed in his work La lyrosophie, will be analysed to determine whether it should be included in the æsthetics of affects. Moreover, the lyrosophie must be considered as one of the most developed forms of said æsthetics. In order to stablish a link between the lyrosophie and the æsthetics of affects, the elements of the latter will be determined, first stablishing in which way and how art affects us. It is through the æsthetic living-experience that both the æsthetic experience and the animic (and emotional) state of the person are comunicated. By this, the way in which the work of art affects the person is kown. Finally, it will be concluded why I consider the lyrosophie essential in the study of the æsthetics of affects.
