Amoris Laetitia, ¿Un documento de transición?

Abstract

Resumen: Se señalan importantes novedades introducidas por Amoris laetitia, no sólo en estilo y método, sino en su visión de la vida moral cristiana, orientada al fin de la felicidad y la comunión. De aquí se derivan ideas importantes como el crecimiento, la valoración de lo imperfecto, el discernimiento personal y pastoral, el rol de la vida afectiva, las analogías “imperfectas” (entre amor humano y amor divino, matrimonio y ciertas situaciones complejas), etc. Sin embargo, al abordar la cuestión de los divorciados vueltos a casar, la exhortación intenta combinar, sin éxito, una reafirmación rígida de la doctrina precedente con una apertura pastoral indiscriminada.

Abstract: This article points out certain important novelties introduced by Amoris Laetitia, not only in style and method, but above all in its vision of Christian moral life, as oriented towards happiness and communion. Many important ideas are drawn from this premise, like moral growth, appreciation of imperfection, personal and pastoral discernment, the role of affective life, “imperfect” analogies (between human and divine love; between marriage and certain “complex” situations), etc. Nevertheless, when it comes to the problem of people divorced and remarried, the exhortation seeks to combine –unsuccessfully− the rigid reaffirmation of the preceding doctrine with a virtually indiscriminate pastoral openness.
