Promoción del reconocimiento de la fertilidad femenina, en el espacio curricular de la Educación Sexual Integral (ESI), en adolescentes escolarizadas de Rodeo del Medio, Maipú Mendoza, año 2018

Abstract

Resumen: Nos interrogamos en primer lugar si las adolescentes de las escuelas de Rodeo del medio que concluyen sus estudios secundarios, son capaces de establecer los días fértiles en sus ciclos. Para dar respuesta al interrogante decidimos investigar qué conocían las alumnas sobre fertilidad al terminar el nivel medio de educación. Como estrategia metodológica para obtener la información, utilizamos una encuesta de preguntas cerradas, abiertas y de elección múltiple, que se aplicó a las alumnas. El análisis de los datos cuantitativos obtenidos, mostraron la imposibilidad que tenían las adolescentes de interpretar correctamente los signos y síntomas de fertilidad. Expresaron la necesidad de conocer sobre su fertilidad, y respondieron afirmativamente a la propuesta de enseñanza/ aprendizaje. Esta realidad nos llevó a implementar proyectos y acciones concretas tendientes a promover este conocimiento, que además les permitirá elaborar juicios rectos a la hora de tomar decisiones que comprometan su salud y futura fertilidad. El presente trabajo promueve el Reconocimiento de la Fertilidad Femenina desde los espacios de Educación Sexual Integral (ESI), en adolescentes escolarizadas de Rodeo del Medio, Maipú, Mendoza.

Abstract: First of all, we asked ourselves whether adolescent girls from the schools of Rodeo del Medio who finish high school are able to establish the fertile days in their cycles. In order to answer this question, we decided to investigate what the students knew about fertility at the end of their secondary education. As a methodological strategy to obtain the information, we used a survey of closed, open and multiple choice questions, which was applied to the students. The analysis of the quantitative data obtained showed that it was impossible for the adolescents to correctly interpret the signs and symptoms of fertility. They expressed the need to know about their fertility, and responded affirmatively to the teaching/learning proposal. This reality led us to implement projects and concrete actions aimed at promoting this knowledge, which will also allow them to make correct judgments when making decisions that compromise their health and future fertility. This work promotes the Recognition of Female Fertility from the spaces of Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI, for its Spanish acronym), in adolescent schoolgirls from Rodeo del Medio, Maipú, Mendoza.
