Abstract

Resumen: El documento de Aparecida resulta inspirador para el plan pastoral del Papa Francisco. Habiendo sido él mismo miembro del Comité redactor, muchas de sus ideas se ven reflejadas en el citado documento del episcopado latinoamericano. Al ser designado Sumo Pontífice, estas ideas reaparecen en los documentos de Evangelii Gaudium y Laudato Si´. El aporte de la visión que el Santo Padre tiene de la defensa de la vida, el compromiso con estos principios, la propuesta de situarlos en el marco mas amplio que incluye la cuestión social y el medio ambiente, son aportes que este articulo pretende destacar.

Abstract: The document of Aparecida is an inspiration for Pope Francis´ pastoral plan. As he himself was a member of the Drafting Committee, many of his ideas are reflected in the quoted document of the Latin American Episcopate. Upon his appointment as Supreme Pontiff, these ideas reappeared in the documents of Evangelii Gaudium and Laudato Si.` The contribution of the Holly Father´s viewpoint with regard to the defense of life, his commitment with those principles, the proposal of placing them in a wider framework which includes the social question and the environment are contributions the article attempts to highlight.
