Un rumbo renovado para la bioética personalista : Aparecida, Evangelii Gaudium, Laudato Si'

Abstract

Resumen: El Magisterio puede resultar un gran aporte como conciencia teórica de un movimiento práctico como es el personalismo ontológico. Al pasar a la contribución de cada documento, se destaca el ardor renovado que insufla Aparecida a la vida de la Iglesia que peregrina en América Latina, a la vez que se señalan dos puntos del documento: 1) La capacidad de interpretar situaciones que trascienden a América Latina, como la defensa de la dignidad de la vida en general y de la persona en particular. 2) La mirada puesta en los elementos positivos del interlocutor, así como una gran exigencia y rigor racional al momento de argumentar. Por su parte Evangelii Gaudium, retoma la tradición de la defensa de la vida del nascituro, al tiempo que amplía las consideraciones al poner el acento en otras causas que afectan la dignidad de la vida humana y la degradan (Vgr. causas socio-económicas). Se analiza el aporte de Laudato Si´ para destacar el vínculo del documento de Francisco con Renselaer Potter y la concepción de la defensa de la vida en un sentido global, donde el ambiente humano y el ambiente natural, se degradan juntos.

Abstract: The Magisterium can make a great contribution as the theoretical conscience of a new practical movement as the ontological personalism is. When analyzing the contribution of each document, the renewed fervor infused by Aparecida to the life of the Church on its pilgrimage through Latin America is highlighted, at the same time two topics of the document are pointed out: 1) The ability to understand situations which transcend Latin America like the defense of the dignity of life in general and particularly of human beings. 2) The emphasis put on the spokesperson´s positive elements, as well as a strong demand and rational rigor at the moment of arguing. For its part, the Evangelii Gaudium resumes the tradition of defending the life of the unborn, while broadening the considerations emphasizing other causes that affect and degrade the dignity of human life, (e.g. socialeconomical causes). The contribution of the Encyclical Laudato S` is analyzed to highlight the connection of Francis´ document with Renselaer Potter and the conception of the defense of life in a global sense, where the human and natural environment are degraded together.
