Abstract: In the current work, we present the Indian heritage in the social and economic history of Chiapas which help us to address the social organizations fight for the land as a constitutive element of their identities. In addition, we get close to the federal and local government acting and its multiple control and discipline strategies, in its military political and social dimensions as well. We wonder about the violence usage for the different actors in the zone and question about the existence of a covert state of exception and lowintensity conflict in the Chiapas scene. In this regard, we seek to pose which are the different economic implied actors in the zone considering its natural resources. Finally, we propose to understand the Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional strategy in its military and political dimensions as an example of a social organization resistance in a scenario like this. |
