Beatriz Vallejos : imágenes en verba y en laca

Abstract

Resumen: En principio, nos habíamos propuesto estudiar el segundo poemario de la santafesina Beatriz Vallejos, Cerca pasa el río (1952), que ella regalara a su maestro laquista, el chileno Carlos Valdés Mujica. Este y el primer poemario fueron excluidos de la antología personal de la autora, El collar de arena (1980), así como de la edición realizada con el mismo nombre en 2013. Por fortuna dimos con ellos, gracias a la editorial Iván Rosado y a la Biblioteca Nacional “Mariano Moreno”, respectivamente. Pero, debido al cierre a causa del Covid19, todavía no ha sido posible acceder al segundo. Sin embargo, en la edición de 2013, entre las prosas hay un texto de Cerca pasa el río, “La ventana”. A partir de él nos es posible conjeturar qué elementos de aquel libro movieron tanto al chileno a sugerirle pasar sus poemas a la tabla. Al analizar “La ventana” en continuidad con su primer poemario, Alborada del canto (1945), hallamos rasgos que ilustran, por contraste, los cambios decisivos que trazan el rumbo seguido después. Finalmente, establecimos una relación entre código verbal y código visual, en pro de conocer su poética como creadora multidisciplinaria.

Abstract: At first, we had proposed to study the second collection of poems by the Santafesina Beatriz Vallejos, Cerca pasa el río (1952), which she gave to her lacquer teacher, the Chilean Carlos Valdés Mujica. This and the first collection of poems were excluded from the author's personal anthology, El collar de arena (1980), as well as from the edition made with the same name in 2013. Fortunately, we found them, thanks to the publishing house Iván Rosado and the National Library "Mariano Moreno", respectively. But, due to the closure caused by Covid19, it has not yet been possible to access the second. However, in the 2013 edition, among the proses, there is one text of Cerca pasa el río, “La ventana”. From its reding it is possible to conjecture what elements of that book moved the Chilean so much to suggest Vallejos to pass her poems to the wood. When analyzing "The window" in continuity with her first collection of poems, Alborada del canto (1945), we found features that illustrate, by contrast, the decisive changes that trace the course followed later. Finally, we established a relationship between verbal code and visual code, in order to know her poetics as a multidisciplinary creator.
