Hospedar la belleza: resignificación del huésped y el hospedero a partir del mythos de Helena

Abstract

Resumen: En este trabajo se propone una mirada hacia la dinámica de la hospitalidad: migración, acogida y encuentro, a partir de algunos puntos interpretativos que nos sugiere el mythos de la mujer más bella sobre la tierra, Helena de Troya, un personaje marcado por el rapto, el desarraigo y la errancia. Esta dinámica de migración nos abre al reconocimiento de algunas características definidas por el modo de simbolizar del lenguaje mítico. Así mismo, cada encuentro implica un ‘re-conocimiento’, un volver a resignificar al huésped una vez instalado ya, pero develado en el hecho intramundano del cara a cara. Pero, en atención a la función simbólica de Helena, lo primero que se nos plantea es: ¿Y la belleza? ¿Cómo se da en este contexto mítico esta reconfiguración de sentido de la identidad del huésped y el hospedero? ¿Qué relevancia tiene la identidad de la Helena hospedada y la HelenaBelleza?

Abstract: This paper proposes a look at the dynamics of hospitality: migration, reception and encounter, based on some interpretative points suggested by the mythos of the most beautiful woman on earth, Helen of Troy, a character marked by abduction, uprooting and wandering. This dynamic of migration opens us to the recognition of certain characteristics defined by the symbolising mode of mythic language. Likewise, each encounter implies a "re-knowledge", a re-signification of the host already installed, but unveiled in the intramundane fact of the face to face. But, faced with the symbolic function of Helena, the first question that arises is: What about beauty? How does this reconfiguration of the meaning of the identity of the guest and the host take place in this mythical context? What relevance does the identity of the host Helena and the Helena-Beauty have?
