Resumen : Abstract: This paper is an introduction to the Songs of Songs as collection of love poems between two people who live a clandestine relationship. The book builds a literary cosmos where a particular ethic and esthetic are developed in order to fulfill the needs of the erotic language and experience. At the same time acts in response to the Genesis narrative, looking for free women from their sexual destiny which condemns them to be subjugated to male through her sexual desire. This reading assumes that the author of Songs is a woman who compiled ancient poems and gave them her particular imprint.
