Resumen : Abstract: This article is pioneering by using econometric models for analyzing the perceived health factors in Honduras. A simple random samples was taken from three regions of Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and Santa Barbara, later, we estimated a probit model. We conclude that there is proof of a relationship between socioeconomic factors and the perceived health, where in a cluster of 14 explanatory variables, nine are determinant and five weren´t. There was a 38% probability for a positive perceived health for an individual, which diminishes by ages older than 35. Women tended to have a better perception than men did.
