La irradiación teológica : agenda latinoamericana de Marcos McGrath desde el Chile de los 60'

Abstract

Resumen: Este artículo nos presenta la figura de Marcos Mc Grath, su participación en la vida de la Iglesia en Chile y su vida como Obispo en Panamá, Padre Conciliar y figura decisiva para la comprensión de la mirada eclesiológica y social de Medellín. El fortalece el espíritu de la Facultad de Teología de la Universidad Católica de Chile, encontrando como imperativo conseguir las condiciones mínimas para crear una corriente activa y vital de teología donde los teólogos de escuela intercambien, se expongan al juicio de pares, desarrollen investigaciones, se cuestionen, colaboren estrechamente con la labor del magisterio local. Esta investigación nos presenta en perfil teológico una figura imprescindible para la comprensión del contexto y el contenido de Medellín.

Abstract: This article presents the figure of Marcos Mc Grath, his participation in the life of the Church in Chile and his life as Bishop in Panama, Father Conciliar and decisive figure for the understanding of the ecclesiological and social view of Medellín. It strengthens the spirit of the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Chile, finding it imperative to achieve the minimum conditions to create an active and vital current of theology where school theologians exchange, expose themselves to the judgment of peers, develop research, question, collaborate closely with the work of the local tea- ching profession. This research presents us in a theological profile an essential figure for understanding the context and content of Medellín.
