El viaje del héroe en el Libro del caballero Zifar : el caso de Zifar y Roboán

Abstract

Resumen: Uno de los pilares fundamentales sobre los que descansa el abigarrado y multicolor Libro del caballero Zifar es el motivo del viaje del héroe, visto como una posibilidad de mejora y progreso en muchos ámbitos y aspectos de su vida (espiritual, mental, material, social). En este trabajo evidenciaremos las similitudes y diferencias entre cada viaje de los dos héroes más relevantes de la obra, Zifar y Roboán, y de qué manera ambos personajes confrontan el viaje conforme este, con sus múltiples vicisitudes, transcurre.

Abstract: One of the basic pillars on which rests the manifold and colourful Libro del caballero Zifar is the hero’s journey motif, as a possibility of progress and improvement in many aspects and ambits of his life (spiritual, mental, material, social). In this paper we shall demonstrate the similarities and differences between each journey of the two most important heroes in the oeuvre, Zifar and Roboán, and how both characters confront the journey meanwhile it, with its entire vicissitudes, goes by.
