La libertad de expresión : su protección y límites a la luz del derecho natural

Abstract

Resumen: De antiguo, se ha pensado que la libertad de expresión es la reina del conjunto de libertades que tiene a su disposición el individuo en cualquier sistema jurídico. Sin embargo, se habla poco de su real naturaleza, su alcance y sus límites. Ello forma parte del prejuicio, siempre presente en el hombre moderno, que le impide analizar metafísicamente el concepto de libertad en general. Este trabajo trata de restaurar el concepto de libertad de expresión, el que debe estar unido al análisis de otra libertad no menos importante: la de acceder a la verdad.

Abstract: Since old times, people have been thinking that freedom of expression is the “queen” of the set of freedoms that a person enjoys in any juridical system. Nevertheless, it is a little spoken of its real nature, its reaching point and its limits. This belongs to the prejudice, always present in modern man, which prevents him from analyzing metaphysically the general concept of freedom of expression, which will have to be inexorably united to the analysis of another and not less important freedom: that one to accede to the truth.
