Las participaciones de los obispos argentinos en la Constitución Sacrosanctum Concilium (1962). Reflexiones y perspectivas

Abstract

La constitución Sacrosanctum Concilium fue el primer documento admitido por el Concilio Vaticano II. Fue una de las cuatro constituciones aprobadas por este Síno- do Ecuménico. La liturgia no había recibido en la historia un tratamiento tan espe- cífico por ningún concilio anterior. Contiene un ambicioso programa de reforma de la liturgia, que por su amplitud no tiene análogo en el pasado, y todo un propósito de acción pastoral para rejuvenecer y transformar la vida litúrgica de la Iglesia. Nos detendremos en ahondar en los ítems que los obispos argentinos aportaron en la renovación y la reforma indicada.

The constitution Sacrosanctum Concilium was the first document admitted by the Second Vatican Council. It was one of the four constitutions approved by this Ecumenical Synod. The liturgy had not received such specific treatment in history by any previous council. It contains an ambitious program of reform of the liturgy, which due to its breadth has no analogue in the past, and a whole purpose of pas- toral action to rejuvenate and transform the liturgical life of the Church. We will stop to delve into the items that the Argentine bishops contributed to the renewal and the indicated reform.
