Aspectos de la exigencia misionera en el documento de aparecida

Abstract

Resumen: El autor propone una lectura del documento conclusivo de Aparecida desde una perspectiva teológico-pastoral, destacando para ello la cuestión de la misión como temática transversal. Tomando esta materia como punto de partida en primer lugar se pregunta qué significa que la Iglesia se encuentra en un período nuevo de la historia y en segundo lugar muestra cómo los contenidos teológicos y pastorales se revitalizan a partir de la temática transversal de la misión. Así ocurre con la Santísima Trinidad y la Iglesia, pero también con la historia, la cultura, la religiosidad popular y la opción por los pobres. Todas estas consideraciones plantean perspectivas y desafíos para la Iglesia latinoamericana en orden a la evangelización del continente.

Abstract: The author proposes a reading of the concluding document of Aparecida from a theological- pastoral perspective, emphasizing the question of the mission as a transverse topic. Taking this matter as a starting point, firstly he wonders what is the meaning of the Church being in a new period of history, and secondly he shows how the theological and pastoral contents are revitalized starting from the transverse topic of the mission. This occurs with the Holy Trinity and the Church, but also with history, culture, popular religiosity and the choice for the poor. All these considerations lead to a restatement of the perspectives and challenges for the Latin American Church concerning the evangelization of the continent.
