Edición crítica de la ópera Pampa de Arturo Berutti

Abstract

Resumen: El motivo de mi ponencia es presentar el trabajo realizado hasta el momento, como alumno integrante del proyecto de investigación y edición musical titulado La ópera Pampa de Arturo Berutti, dirigida por Fátima Graciela Musri, con sede en el Gabinete de Estudios Musicales (GEM) de la Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ). Nuestra meta es brindar a la comunidad científica y artística una edición crítica de la partitura manuscrita de Pampa, superando frecuentes inconvenientes. Los manuscritos están incompletos, se preservan por partes separadas en la UNSJ y el INMCV, con acceso restringido. Presentan dificultades de lectura por la caligrafía, la fragmentación del material y la repetición con variantes de algunas partes, entre otras. Esto demora el análisis y la interpretación posterior. En consecuencia, nuestra edición crítica incluirá un informe general con los criterios y las necesarias decisiones tomadas en el proceso.

Abstract: The reason for my paper is to communicate the work carried out so far, as a student, in the research and music editing project entitled The Opera Pampa of Arturo Berutti, directed by Fátima Graciela Musri in the Gabinete de Estudios Musicales (GEM) of the Universidad Nacional de San Juan (UNSJ). Our objective is to provide to the scientific and artistic community a critical edition of the manuscript score of Pampa, overcoming common problems. The manuscripts are incomplete, they are preserved by parts separated in the UNSJ and the INMCV and its have restricted access. The score offers reading difficulties due to the calligraphy, the fragmentation of the material and the repetition with variations of parts, among other. This delays the analysis and subsequent interpretation. As a result, our critical edition will include a comprehensive report whit the criteria, approaches and necessary decisions in the process.
