En otras palabras, las relaciones sociales operantes en cada sociedad y tiempo histórico se objetivan en una trama de voces heterogéneas e incluso opuestas. Este proceso afecta tanto al espacio físico o territorio como al espacio o enjambre digital. El propósito de este artículo es confrontar algunas hipótesis acerca del enjambre digital provenientes de la Sociología, la Filosofía, los Estudios Culturales y la Geocrítica, con el fin de problematizar o deconstruir algunas creencias y saberes relativos a este nuevo ámbito humano de circulación de los discursos y, en consecuencia, de determinación e indeterminación de las identidades.; Abstract: The social construction of space implies a process of constant resemantization that is configured under the aegis of the dominant culture or of alternative / alterative life forms in dialectical play. In other words, the social relations operating in each society and historical time are objectified in a plot of heterogeneous and even opposite voices. This process affects both the physical space or territory and the digital space or swarm. The purpose of this article is to confront some hypotheses about the digital swarm from Sociology, Philosophy, Cultural Studies and Geocriticism, in order to problematize or deconstruct certain beliefs about this new human sphere of circulation of discourses and, consequently, of identity determination and indeterminacy. Based on the second wave of the Journalistic Role Performance (JRP) project, this article reports the findings of a content analysis of 148,474 news items from 37 countries. Our results reveal the transversality of interventionism, the strong associations of some topics and roles, and the limited reach of news beat particularism in the face of moderating variables. This has reinvigorated discussion on how work in online newsrooms compares to other platforms that differ in media affordances and forms. Still, more studies are needed on whether those differences translate into distinct practices, especially when examining cross-national studies. Based on the second wave of the Journalistic Role Performance (JRP) project, this article reports the findings of a content analysis of 148,474 stories produced by 365 media organizations from 37 countries, comparing the performance of journalistic roles in online newsrooms to three other types of media—TV, radio, and print. The paper analyzes if journalistic roles present themselves differently across platforms, and if these differences are constant or they vary across countries. Results show that there are measurable differences in role performance in online journalism compared to other platforms. Platform had a significant impact, particularly in terms of service and infotainment orientation, while the implementation of roles oriented toward public service was more similar. Additionally, country differences in the relationship between role performance and platforms mainly emerged for roles that enable political influence on news coverage, with differences in the relationship between online vs. traditional platforms appearing to be distinct features of the specific political system. Con una concepción autoral e industrial, ambos films postulan una crítica explícita al neoliberalismo. En este díptico, la experiencia de la crisis es presentada por medio de personajes de clase media alta, sometidos en la narración a procesos de desenmascaramiento que les revelan su verdadera posición en el sistema. La dialéctica entre realidad y apariencias, el temor a un afuera amenazante y los intentos fallidos de los personajes por construir comunidades imposibles definen el devenir de la trama, orientada a ofrecer una lección acerca de la experiencia neoliberal.; Resumo: O artigo trata de dois filmes de Marcelo Piñeyro, O Método (2005) e As Viúvas das Quintas-feiras (2009), e os analisa em relação à memória da crise de 2001 na Argentina. Nesse díptico, a experiência da crise é apresentada por meio de personagens da classe média alta, submetidos na narrativa a processos de desmascaramento que revelam sua verdadeira posição no sistema. A dialética entre realidade e aparências, juntamente com as tentativas fracassadas dos personagens de construir comunidades impossíveis e o medo de um exterior ameaçador, definem o avanço da trama, com o objetivo de oferecer uma lição sobre a experiência neoliberal.; Abstract: This article analyzes two films by Marcelo Piñeyro, The Method (2005) and The Widows of Thursdays (2009) in terms of the traces of the Argentine Crisis of 2001. With an authorial and industrial conceptualization, both films articulate an explicit critique of neoliberalism. In this diptych, the experience of the crisis is presented through upper-middle-class characters subjected to unmasking processes that reveal their respective position in the system. The plot evolves underscoring the contrast between reality and appearances, the characters' fear of a threatening outside and their failed attempts to build impossible communities.
