Resumen: Resumen: Mientras preparaba su comentario a las Sentencias de Pedro Lombardo, Santo&#xD;
Tomás entregó a algunos compañeros de orden dos opúsculos filosóficos: De principiis&#xD;
naturae y De ente et essentia. El De principiis naturae es una introducción a la&#xD;
filosofía de la naturaleza, necesaria para los que comienzan a estudiar la filosofía&#xD;
realista. Las nociones de acto y potencia, substancia y accidente, materia, privación&#xD;
y forma, generación y corrupción son presentadas en un discurso continuo&#xD;
y sencillo, que, por un lado, no presenta mayores dificultades para los principiantes&#xD;
y, por otro lado, guarda en sus apretadas expresiones tesis de incuestionable&#xD;
valor metafísico visibles para los peritos en filosofía. En este opúsculo el Aquinate&#xD;
resume la doctrina presente en los libros A y B de la Física de Aristóteles, acusando&#xD;
también la recepción de los comentarios de Averroes y Avicena al corpus&#xD;
aristotelicum. También se advierte que el Aquinate tuvo en consideración el libro&#xD;
A de la Metafísica, especialmente en la presentación de la noción de elemento y en&#xD;
la confección del capítulo sexto, donde presenta las nociones de identidad y semejanza.</description>

      <title>El problema del innatismo en Antonio Rosmini (parte I)</title>

Resumen: Resumen: El Nuovo saggio sull'origine delle idee, en el que Antonio Rosmini&#xD;
(1797-1855) expuso su gnoseología, constituye una de las obras más&#xD;
importantes de la filosofía moderna, equivalente a los Nouvaux Essais de&#xD;
Leibniz o a la kantiana Kritik der reinen Vernunft. Rosmini se inserta en&#xD;
la discusión moderna sobre la naturaleza y el origen de nuestras ideas y&#xD;
propone una solución que rescata el núcleo central del innatismo —tanto&#xD;
antiguo como moderno— pero del cual ofrece una variante verdaderamente&#xD;
original y de vastas consecuencias para el resto de la filosofía. En&#xD;
esta primera parte del trabajo se analiza el proceso de madurez del pensamiento&#xD;
rosminiano hasta lograr la definitiva expresión de la teoría. Se&#xD;
exponen luego las principales líneas de dicha teoría. La importancia de la&#xD;
filosofía rosminiana del conocimiento, además de su novedad, yace en la&#xD;
capacidad de unir lo antiguo con lo moderno mediante un agudo sentido&#xD;
crítico y en la capacidad de esclarecer muchos problemas filosóficos de la&#xD;
modernidad.; Abstract: The Nuovo saggio sull'origine delle idée, which contains Antonio&#xD;
Rosmini's (1797-1855) theory of knowledge, constituyes one of the most&#xD;
important works in modern philosophy, comparable to Leibniz'&#xD;
Nouvaux Essais and to Kant's Kritik der reinen Vernunft. Rosmini takes&#xD;
part in the modern discussion about the nature and origin of our ideas.&#xD;
His solution offers a truly original variant of the central core of innatism,&#xD;
both ancient and modern, which bears many consequences for the rest of philosophy. The first part of the present study analyses the process in&#xD;
which Rosmini's thought achieved maturity and the definite expression&#xD;
of the theory. Secondly, the main features of this theory are outlined.&#xD;
Apart from its novelty, the interest of Rosmini's theory of knowledge lies&#xD;
in its capacity to relate the ancient with the modern by means of a sharp&#xD;
sense of criticism, and in its capacity to shed light upon many modern&#xD;
philosophical problems.</description>

      <title>Le premesse filosofiche dell'antitotalitarismo e dell'antinihilismo politico di Cornelio Fabro</title>

Resumen: Riassunto: La relazione considera le premesse teoretiche del pensiero politico di&#xD;
Cornelio Fabro. In particolare si sofferma sulla questione del soggetto&#xD;
(umano) che é tema nodale della filosofia moderna e, soprattutto, di quella&#xD;
contemporanea: Cornelio Fabro, in polemica con le dottrine che lo&#xD;
riducono a "evento", lo considera come una "identitá" data, sempre uguale&#xD;
sul piano ontico e sempre nuova sul piano morale.&#xD;
La relazione mostra come l'interesse di Fabro per la questione sia stato&#xD;
provocato da drammatici eventi (la seconda guerra mondiale), che sono&#xD;
divemntati problemi dell'esperienza individuale e collettiva e, pertanto, si&#xD;
sono imposti come problema filosofico del nostro tempo.; Abstract: This contribution considers the theoretical premises of Cornelio Fabro's political thought. In particular, it deals with the issue of the&#xD;
(human) subject, which is a central concern for modern and, especially,&#xD;
contemporary philosophy: against all the doctrines which reduce the subject&#xD;
to an "event", Cornelio Fabro takes it to be a given "identity", always&#xD;
identical on the ontic level, and always new on the moral level.&#xD;
This contribution shows that Fabro's interest for this issue originated&#xD;
from dramatic events (the second world war), which represented problems&#xD;
for the both individual and the collective experiences, and, which&#xD;
hence became a philosophical question for our time.</description>

Resumen: Abstract: The study intends to present a panoramic and articulated view of&#xD;
Fabro's doctrine on freedom. This doctrine is the result from a reading&#xD;
of the Thomistic interpretation that at the same time is attentive to the&#xD;
exigency of the foundation of freedom that characterizes the modern&#xD;
thought. The new conception has as its basis three theses: 1) The choice&#xD;
of the last end in concrete; 2) The qualitative emergence of the will; 3)&#xD;
The principality of the "I" as "operating totality".&#xD;
The last end is the same for all people and all the people desire happiness,&#xD;
but not al! people search for it where it really is. This is the moment&#xD;
of the passage from the abstract-formal sphere to the real-existential one.&#xD;
The determination of the last end in concrete depends on the will, and&#xD;
announces its domination over the entice subjective sphere. In fact, there&#xD;
are three realms of domination of the will: it dominates its own act and so&#xD;
the freedom of exercise emerges aboye the freedom of specification; the&#xD;
will dominates the faculties of the soul, firstly, the intellect; the will dominates&#xD;
its own object. Ever though the will is only a faculty, it is the faculty&#xD;
of the person as such and reveals the subject as an "operating totality". The&#xD;
conclusion is that freedom must be interpreted as "participated creativity",&#xD;
a formula in which "creativity" means the radical originality and control&#xD;
of the act and "participated" means the metaphysical root of this perfection&#xD;
in the spiritual nature.</description>
